A hands-on introduction and walkthrough of the Nokia X Software Platform, the new Nokia platform with Android at its core, where a project using Nokia services will be created, developed and published.
A live walkthrough of the Nokia X Software Platform, that will start with a brief platform introduction and comparison to other Android devices. The hands-on part of the session will go from tool installation and project development all the way to submitting the app to the Nokia store. Special focus and porting advices will be given about the Nokia-provided services on top of Android, such as the power-efficient Notifications, the carrier-billing powered In-app payment and HERE Maps.
