David brings over 17 years’ experience in the telecommunications sector, specialising in mobile software architectures, platforms, technologies and transport protocols for delivering next generation mobile services and is now engaged across many of the GSMA programmes including NFC, RCS, network APIs and the future of web application technologies, as well as data analytics and contextualised services. Prior to joining the GSMA, David led a number of strategic programmes including mWallet/NFC and mBrokerage (data analytics) at Vodafone. David has a Masters Degree from Imperial College, London and a passion for leveraging the latest technologies to deliver the next generation of innovative services to mobile users.
